This blog will record my restoration of my brother's 1959 Triumph Thunderbird 6T. The bike is due to arrive in the boot of a car at the end of the month.

To date I have been researching what parts should be fitted and their availability ..... and have also found and bought the first one of those missing parts -  the revolator !

I think finding one in this condition is like having sifted through rocking horse poo and found hens teeth there - a good omen for the work that lies ahead !
